造源景观：东方书香气质，诗情画意花园
2024粤港澳大湾区花展主题花卉为大花飞燕草，要求鼓励各参展机构在构思及设计时，宣扬中国传统文化，加入环保概念和元素，尽量使用可循环利用的环保物料，创造特色展园。
作为本届花展的宝安区城市花园，绮云书香总面积180平方米，设计主题创意巧妙，既弘扬中国传统文化，又结合当代生活方式，运用生态低碳环保材料，打造花园独特的书画意境和优雅神秘感，体会书香文化源远流长，庭院深深深几许的感受；荣获本届花展造园艺术奖金奖与最佳建造奖、2024年广东园林学会科学技术奖规划设计二等奖。
ZYEEN: Oriental scholarly elegance, a poetic and picturesque garden
The theme flower of the 2024 Greater Bay Area Flower Show is Delphinium×cultorum Voss, and all participating institutions are encouraged to promote the traditional Chinese culture and incorporate environmental concepts and elements in their designs, giving priority to create unique exhibition gardens with the recyclable eco-friendly materials.
As the urban garden of Bao’an District in this flower show, Qiyun Scholarly Fragrance covers a total area of 180 m2, with ingeniously conceived design theme, not only carrying forward traditional Chinese culture but also integrating contemporary lifestyles. The unique artistic conception of calligraphy and painting, as well as an elegant and mysterious atmosphere is created for the garden (Qiyun Scholarly Fragrance) with the ecological, low-carbon and environmentally friendly materials, the visitors could experience the long-standing scholarly culture and the feeling of “Deep, deep the courtyard where he is, so deep”. It won the Gold Award for Garden Design Art and the Best Construction Award of this flower show, as well as the Second Prize for Planning and Design of the 2024 Science and Technology Award of Guangdong Society of Landscape Architecture.

缘起·宝安传奇
宝安，千年古郡，山辉泽美，是深港文化之源，人文湾区的根脉与核心。
宝安，向湾生长，乘势而上，是世界级制造城，国际化湾区滨海城。
众人眼中有着不一样的宝安，既是亚洲最大的湾区之光摩天轮，又是处处充满人间烟火气的西乡，还是古韵繁华的清平古墟，令人垂涎三尺的沙井生蚝……那么，在你眼中的宝安又是什么模样？
通过深入挖掘宝安历史文化，设计师惊喜的发现在西乡街道乐群社区有一座深圳规模最大、建筑艺术性最好的私人书室——绮云书室。它历经百年沧桑雨雪，如今仍书声不绝，牵引着人们的思绪走进时光隧道里，去探寻书室那些传奇故事：宝安历史上很有个性、富有传色彩的郑毓秀，中国第一位女博士、第一位女律师、第一位地方法院女性院长与审检两厅厅长……她给后世留下了诸多“第一”的美誉。
Dependent Origination · Legend of Bao’an
Bao’an, a millennial ancient prefecture blessed with splendid mountains and waters, serves as the cradle of Shenzhen-Hong Kong culture, as well as the root and core of the cultural Greater Bay Area.
Bao’an, growing towards the bay and riding the momentum, has become a world-class manufacturing hub and an international coastal city in the bay area.
In the eyes of people, they can perceive the difference of Bao’an: it is not only the Bay Glory Ferris Wheel, Asia’s largest, but also the bustling Xixiang full of daily life, the ancient and prosperous Qingping Old Bazaar, and the mouth-watering Shajing oysters… well, what does Bao’an look like in your eyes?
Through in-depth excavation of Bao’an’s history and culture, the designers are delighted to discover the Qiyun Study Hall in Lequn Community, Xixiang Subdistrict – the largest and most artistically constructed private study hall in Shenzhen. After a century of vicissitudes, it still resonates with the sound of reading, leading people’s thoughts into a time tunnel to explore its legendary stories: Zheng Yuxiu, a prominent and remarkable historical figure in Bao’an, who was China’s first female doctorate holder, the first female lawyer, the first female president of a local court, the director of both prosecution and adjudication departments… She left behind a reputation for many “firsts” in history.
立意·绮云书香
设计以“绮云书室”为灵感来源，擦亮文化名片，延续城市文脉，提取其在地文化元素和建筑设计语言——客家围屋半月池、岭南特色硬山顶、传统木构砖墙、文学书香墨韵等，以“绮云书香”为主题，运用中国园林的理水、透景、框景、障景、借景、植物布置等营造法式，融合新潮时尚的生态理念，打造一曲水四院落的东方诗意花园。
创意再生材料融于场地肌理，中国传统绛紫色系描绘自然花境，赋予花园独特的书画意境和优雅神秘感。穿行于绮云松影下、曲水流觞间、古色书香中，感受古今相融、生活无限美好的画卷！
Conception · Qiyun Scholarly Fragrance
Inspired by the Qiyun Study Hall, the design aims to polish the cultural name card and continue the urban context. It extracts local cultural elements and architectural languages – the half-moon pond of Hakka enclosed houses, Lingnan-style hard mountain roofs, traditional wooden-structured brick walls, and the charm of literature and calligraphy – taking “Qiyun Scholarly Fragrance” as the theme. The design integrates the gardening techniques of Chinese gardens, including water management, perspective framing, framed view, obstructed view, borrowed scenery and plant arrangement, while incorporating trendy ecological concepts, to create an oriental poetic garden with four courtyards and one flowing stream.
Creative recycled materials are integrated into the texture of site, the traditional Chinese crimson-purple tones depict natural flower space, endowing the garden with the unique artistic conception of calligraphy and painting and an elegant mystery. Wandering beneath the pine shadows of Qiyun, along the meandering stream, and amidst the ancient scholarly aroma, the visitors can feel a scroll where ancient and modern converge, unfurling the boundless beauty of life!

营造曲水流觞意境，步移景异
花园整体呈现出现代中式、时尚国潮、神秘优雅、东方诗意的自然景观风格。平面构图致敬书圣王羲之故居兰亭的曲水流觞布局，以水景曲折多姿的艺术形态灵活分割花园空间，增加空间层次感，增添园林美感；同时寓意文人雅聚，出门踏青，对美好生活的向往追求。
Garden Construction · Elegance of Chinese Aesthetics
Creating the artistic conception of meandering stream for literary gatherings, where scenery transforms with every step
The garden presents a modern Chinese landscape style integrating trendy national fashion, mysterious elegance, and oriental poetry. The planar composition pays homage to the “curved water flowing cup” layout of Orchid Pavilion (the former residence of Wang Xizhi, the Sage of Calligraphy), flexibly divide spaces with a zigzagging water feature, enhancing the spatial layering and adding to the garden aesthetics. Meanwhile, it implies scholarly gatherings, spring outings, and the yearning for a better life.

景观空间巧于因借，精在体宜
合理地利用花园场地现有地形、周围环境、树木、气候和光照等因素的基础上，因地制宜的采用透景、框景、障景、借景等园林设计手法，设计两组虚实结合、巧而得体的折墙，通过系列空间起承转合，打造阅墨池、闻书香、读万卷、绮云漫一曲水四院落的东方诗意花园，营建自然而然、如诗如画的景观空间。
Landscape space design make full use of borrowing and integration, with refined proportionality
Based on rational utilization of the garden site’s existing topography, surrounding environment, trees, climate, and lighting, the design employs garden techniques like perspective view, framed view, obstructed view, and borrowed scenery. Two groups of folded walls with interwoven virtual-real textures are constructed, creating an oriental poetic garden with “Four courtyards and one flowing stream” – including the Ink-reading Pond, Book-fragrance Pavilion, Ten-thousand-volume Study, and ambling in Qiyun – to form a natural and picturesque landscape through spatial transitions.

多样自然植物生境，书香墨韵
花园的植物布置形式自然、层次丰富，整体以中国传统绛紫色系自然花境为基调，沿水系由深至浅渐变，再由浅变深过渡，根据四院落意境色彩与植物选择有机变化。
乔木选用“岁寒三友”里的松竹为主，契合书香主题；中层灌木选择自然飘逸、枝条婉转的乡土植物春花、栀子花、桃金娘、红花继木等点植于水边、景墙前后，精心挑选深圳市花簕杜鹃（大藤本）进行廊架装饰，相互辉映；地被植物包含花展主题花卉大花飞燕草（紫花）、鼠尾草系列、铁筷子-冰雪玫瑰、月季-秋日胭脂、水杨梅、腊梅、唐松草、千叶蓍、裂叶马兰、飞蓬草、雪片莲、雪樱花以及荫生特色秋海棠系列、彩叶芋系列、海芋系列、竹芋系列、朱蕉系列、蕨类等约200个品种，丰富多样，营造出花意盎然、赏心悦目、诗情画意的新自然花境景观，表达书香的国风雅韵。
Diverse Natural Plant Habitats with Scholarly Charming
The plant arrangement features natural forms and rich layers, based on traditional Chinese crimson-purple flower borders that gradient from deep to light along the water system, adapting to the color themes of the four courtyards.
The arbor is mainly pine and bamboo in the “Three Durable Plants of Winter”, which is in line with the theme of books; The middle shrubs are selected to plant the native plants such as Rhaphiolepis indica, Gardenia jasminoides, Rhodomyrtus tomentosa, Loropetalum chinense and others at the side of water as well as before and after the scenery wall. Shenzhen city flower Bougainvillea (large vine) is carefully selected for corridor decoration, reflecting each other; There are about 200 varieties of rich and diverse ground cover plants, including flower show theme flowers, such as Delphiniu×cultorum Voss (purple flower), Salvia, Helleborus thibetanus ‘WinterBell’, Rosa ‘Autumn Rouge’, Geum, Lep tospermum scoparium, Thalictrum aquilegiifolium, Achillea millefolium, Aster incisus, Erigeron karvinskianus, Leucojum vernum, Deutzia ‘Yuki Cherry Blossom’, as well as Begonia, Caladium, Alocasia, Maranta, Cordyline, Fern and so on. This diverse palette creates a new natural flower border brimming with blossoms, aesthetic charm, and poetic ambiance, embodying the traditional Chinese elegance of scholarly culture.

生态低碳循环利用，巧夺天工
废弃混凝土块（中心公园A区临时路面破除再利用）通过有机筛选、巧妙摆放，再现古朴艺术的铺地感观；固废红砖、建筑废渣吊灯由回收废弃建筑材料再生制作而成，落地为艺术化景墙与小品；采用菊炭做池底，打造“菊”韵悠悠的小溪，以上材料撤展后可回收利用，花园整体回迁搬至宝安西湾-前海湾慢行公共空间绿地中。
Ecological low-carbon recycling with ingenious workmanship
Waste concrete blocks (temporary pavement demolition and reuse in Area A of Central Park) are organically screened and skillfully placed to reproduce the paving sensation of ancient art; Solid waste red bricks and construction waste slag chandeliers are made from recycled waste building materials, to land as the artistic landscape walls and sketches. Stream bed is lined with chrysanthemum charcoal to evoke the lingering charm of “Chrysanthemum Rhythm”. The above materials can be recycled after the dismantling, and the entire garden will be relocated to the green space of the slow-moving public area in Bao’an Xiwan-Qianhai Bay.

曲水流觞
暮春三月，惠风和畅，弯弯曲曲的水溪环绕整个花园，以墨色的菊花炭为池底，保留天然的纹理，与花草相衬，新意环保又有质感。漫步曲水间，散发着书墨花香的松林修竹，仿佛把我们带回到永和九年的曲水流觞时。流动在光影里的云烟，既合于古，亦适于今，庭院深几许的如画美景，邀你赴一场自然的诗意之约。
Garden Exploration · Ancient Charm, Modern Sensibility
Meandering Stream Layout
In the late spring breeze, a meandering stream encircles the garden, its bed lined with ink-black chrysanthemum charcoal that retains natural textures, blending harmoniously with surrounding flora – innovative, eco-conscious, and tactile. Strolling along the curvaceous waterway, one is transported back to the legendary “Lanting Gathering” of 353 CE, where scholars composed poetry by a flowing stream. Clouds and mists weaving through light and shadow harmonize with both ancient traditions and modern aesthetics. The deep courtyard’s picturesque beauty, a living scroll, invite visitors into a poetic dialogue with nature.

院落壹-阅墨池
入口空间随深色的花径拾级而上，可见半月形的墨池，睡莲花开，取意“鹅池”典故，问道兰亭，将文化记忆展现在景观中；盛开的簕杜鹃爬满廊架与苍劲的松树形成框景，炭化木匾点题“绮云书香”伴桃花翠鸟图，表达了宝安历史文脉沧桑，新生一代桃李满天下，弦歌不绝。
Courtyard I – Ink-reading Pond
Ascending along the dark-hued flower path at the entrance, a half-moon shaped ink pond appears with blooming waterlilies, inspired by the legend of “Goose Pond”. This landscape rekindles cultural memories: Bougainvillea climbs the pergola, forming a framed scenery with the vigorous pine trees, while a carbonized wooden plaque inscribed with “Qiyun Scholarly Fragrance” accompanies a peach blossom and kingfisher painting – symbolizing the historical heritage of Bao’an and the new generation carrying forward its scholarly legacy.

院落贰-闻书香
转而进闻书香院落，固废红砖景墙虚实结合，深色基调神秘含蓄，月季花、鼠尾草争妍开放，铺地选用工地的废弃混凝土块做碎拼嵌草样式，吊灯也是建筑废渣材料做成的简约样式，搭配高低错落的炭化木桩和独具古韵的瓶花小景，春花、栀子从方窗中探出，空间延申引人入胜，形成绝佳打卡点。砖墙、旧路、木桩、吊灯的回收再利用，赋予空间独特的韵味和故事感，宣扬生态环保理念。
Courtyard II – Book-fragrance Pavilion
Upon entering the scholarly fragrance courtyard, the recycled red brick landscape wall combines solid and void elements, with a dark tone exuding mystery and subtlety. Rosa and Salvia in full splendor, while the pavement features fragmented concrete blocks from construction sites arranged in a grass-interplanted mosaic pattern. The chandeliers, crafted from construction waste, showcase a minimalist design, complemented by staggered carbonized wooden stakes and ancient-style mini flower arrangements in vases. Rhaphiolepis indica and Gardenia jasminoides through square lattice windows, extending the space in an intriguing manner, forming a perfect photo hotspot. The recycling and reuse of brick walls, old pavement, wooden stakes, and chandeliers endow the space with unique charm and a sense of story, promoting eco-friendly concepts.

院落叁-读万卷
穿过腊梅花坡，登上万卷台，半月窗下，山石泉涌，曲桥汀步，茶香墨韵，藏书万卷，以白、淡黄绿色系的花境为主，淡雅静谧，尽显诗意。在宁静的时光中，人文沉淀，书画意境，感受中华传统文化的独特魅力。
Courtyard III – Ten-thousand-volume Study
Passing through Tospermum scoparium slopes, the “Scroll Terrace” features a crescent-moon window framing rock springs, zigzag bridges for wandering, and tea-scented tranquility. A monochromatic palette of white and chartreuse flower border cultivates serenity, echoing classical literati aesthetics where calligraphy and treasured books celebrate the Chinese cultural heritage.

沿着深色炭化木板逐级而下，慢慢走出花园，此院落突出意蕴悠长，以植物景观为主，色彩从素雅渐变至绛紫，结合现场环境，榕树下阴凉，点植耐荫的秋海棠、朱蕉、竹芋、海芋等系列特色植物，时光流转，步移景异，寓意花园就像一片云飘向世界，宝安的精神，传统的文化，也像一片又一片飘向天边的云。
Courtyard IV · Ambling in Qiyun
Descending step by step along the dark carbonized wooden planks, one gradually exits the garden. This courtyard highlights a profound and lasting appeal, giving priority to plant landscapes where colors transition gradually from simple elegance to crimson-purple. In harmony with the site environment, the shady area under banyan trees is interspersed with shade-tolerant specialty plants such as shade-tolerant Begonia, Cordyline, Maranta, Alocasia planted. As time goes by, the scenery changes with every step, symbolizing the garden like a cloud floating towards the world – just as the spirit of Bao’an and traditional culture drift like endless clouds toward the horizon.

Renowned for its exceptional prestige and influence, the Flower Show attracts visitors from across the Greater Bay Area and nationwide. The 2024 edition ranked TOP 1 on local trending lists, generated over 41 million views on Weibo topics, and received widespread acclaim, drawing approximately 808,500 attendees. It has become a poetic celebration of the Bay Area’s green beauty. “Qiyun Scholarly Fragrance” of Bao’an Garden captivated visitors with its delightful design, earning on-site praise and maintaining strong social media traction across platforms like Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, and WeChat Video Channels, significantly contributing to the event’s success. Meanwhile, citizens can achieve effective promotion through on-site learning and observation of plant variety identification, understanding of ecological habits, principles of color matching, and setting of garden sketches, so that gardens and horticulture can enter the daily life of ordinary people and return to a poetic life.
“Grand Vision in Miniature”: Pioneering a New Trend in Themed Gardens
